product features

Discover the exceptional properties of wood pellets and briquettes that make us love these products!

Ash content

Wood pellets and briquettes are an excellent choice if you want less cleaning work. Wood chips or coal usually have an ash content of 0.5-1.5% and 10-20% respectively. In contrast, pellets and wood pellets have a much lower ash content, so their use requires less cleaning and tidying. This makes maintenance of the heating system much easier and saves us time and energy. In addition, wood pellets and wood briquettes provide more efficient energy, which further increases their economy and environmental friendliness.

Heating value

Briquettes and wood pellets have an outstanding calorific value, outperforming conventional fuels. While the calorific value of firewood is generally in the range of 12-20 MJ/kg, coal 25-30 MJ/kg and oil 42-45 MJ/kg, pellets and wood pellets exceed even these. In addition, these fuels are highly efficient, environmentally friendly and very easy to store. This is why they are becoming increasingly widespread as an economical heating solution, as they are not only efficient but also environmentally friendly. Pellets and wood pellets offer an ideal alternative for sustainable heating and help to reduce the use of fossil fuels, thus contributing to the protection of the environment.

Moisture content

Wood pellets and wood briquettes have a lower moisture content, while conventional fuels have a variable moisture content. This has a significant impact on combustion efficiency and emissions, as less water vapour is produced. While firewood generally has a moisture content of 20-60%, coal has 5-15% and oil contains no moisture. The low moisture content of pellets and wood pellets facilitates fast and efficient combustion, resulting in improved energy efficiency and reduced emissions of environmentally harmful substances.

Combinability

Pellet heating systems are easy to install and adapt to the heating needs of different homes. They can also be flexibly combined with other heating systems, such as infrared panels. This allows pellet heating to be optimally adapted to the heating system of the building and make it even more efficient. With this combination, comfortable, economical and environmentally friendly heating can be achieved in most homes and buildings.
